!!SORT IT OUT!! TV Ads....

 !!WTF IS THIS!!?
Please note, this is not the UK version, buts its pretty much the same. Just couldn't find it online.
How the hell can a company blatantly lie like this to sell us their products. This ad is proof that company's create problems, just to be able to sell us the cure. What the fuck is that 'scanner' that this dude used that is supposed to be able to tell you instantly, how much plaque, or whatever is is they've called it, there is on your teeth instantly! !!BOLOX!!
Now the more naive or gullible of us will rush out to buy this product just to ensure that what was depicted on their television screen does not happen to them, even though what just happened on the screen was completely fictional!

Brand Names

Brands, to me anyway, are supposed to represent a company or organisation. Weather it be a logo, slogan, image, whatever. Now it seems that a brand is more about being part of an exclusive club or, how I like to put it 'cult'. Prime example of this is.... yupp you guessed it Apple.
Now I'm not gonna be one of these 'Im unique's' that simply hate Apple products because everyone else loves them, I will admit that Apple products are very good, some of the best available. But they !!ARE NOT THE BEST!!
What Apple have always done, and now other manufacturers are starting to catch on to, is make their products seem far more special than they are. This is done my not allowing open source software, apps, programmes etc.... meaning Apple have to allow anything associated with their products i.e. apps, to be available on the market place. Microsoft have done this with their Windows Phone 7 products, this is what threw me over the edge, as I WAS a supporter of Microsoft when they did allow open source. I know that you can 'Hack' or 'Jail Break' devices, to allow open source, but this voids your warranty, so if you decide to hack your device, if it breaks.... your fooked!
Why cant 'at home' developers create apps and software for use with top branded devices? It would only create more users, as theses 'at home' developers are more likely to understand the needs of everyday users, as these guys tend to be everyday users also. But this wouldn't be lucrative to the manufacturers at all would it! If someone had a device that met all their needs, they wouldn't upgrade to a newer device would they?.... !!NO!!
Now I can appreciate that these are company's that need to make money, otherwise whats the point. I just don't like how they seem to force you to (or atleast try to) to buy their products.
'If you dont have an iPhone, you dont have an iPhone'
The tone in which this is said on the iPhone ads almost makes, even me, question why I have'nt purchased one yet, (but then I come to my senses), so some of the weaker minded amongst us fall for it hook, line and sinker! Why cant they be honest?
'Its not much better than the old model, but you may find some of the new features useful'
Now that would appeal to me far more! On top of all this, these company's have too much information on us, I bet some of you was'nt aware that you're location can be pinpointed if you carry a device such as a 'smart phone'. Some peoples minds have been taken over that much that they would buy a phone usually costing much more that £150, just because it has some clever way of using Facebook that another phone does not, and this one would probably cost less than £50. Are you not aware how much these company's are changing the way we think? It has been proven that simply seeing an Apple product stimulates the same part of the brain that gives us cravings for things such as cigarettes! !!THAT IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS!!
COME ON, USE YOUR BRAIN, WHAT DO YOU NEED THE DEVICE FOR?
Do you need a 10MP camera? Do you even need a camera?
Do you need GPS?
Do you really need to be able to use FaceBook when out and about? Your on a phone, need to talk to someone, so you send them a message on FaceBook? !!WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!!
Do you need HD videos?
The only thing I will say I can understand is an MP3 player on your phone!
On the subject of MP3 players, and a perfect example of what I have a problem with is iPods. What is an iPod? An MP3 player. So why is it that we refer to every other manufacturers music players as an 'MP3 player' but when discussing Apples player its always 'iPod'?? Same thing with tablet devices and iPads.....
Just something to leave you to think on
Did you know that iPads are being used in schools, hospitals, and even churches! Does no one else out there find this strange?
Any fans of Dr Who?? You know how the cyber men came to be? Do you not think that if things carry on the way they are, Apple will be the ones to make that sort of thing reality?? Not very likely I know, but 100% feasible!
